Expression Studio 3 Released (Expression Web 3)

The wait for Expression Web 3 is finally over, with release of Expression Studio 3 (22nd July 2009). With Expression Web 3, we have a new, improved and a complete package for designers and developers, since it also includes Expression Design 3 and Expression Encoder 3.

Expression Web 3 has a new look with a grey-black colored interface. SuperPreview is integrated with Expression Web 3 which allows you to preview your pages in IE 6, 7, 8 and Firefox (needs to be installed on your system). Yes, Expression Web 3 now supports Internet Explorer 8. The newly added Snapshot feature will take a real-time browser shot of your page and display it in the workspace. The task panes have transformed into panels. These panels and toolboxes are collapsible with the autohide feature. They can be floated and pinned anywhere. New functions and commands are also added to them. The FTP Client is also redesigned. Expression Web 3 will work with VSTS (Visual Studio Team System) and Silverlight.

    You may want to take a look at this new fast cross browser screenshot application.

    Currently it only supports Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari on Windows, but as it is being actively developed more features and additional browsers will be added in the future.
